Apple needs to clean up its language, says UK

appleLogo-alistairIsraelLawyer speak, otherwise known as legal speak or, more formally, legal English has never been easy to understand – even with a law degree. Apple has been criticized before for the level of the language in their Terms and Conditions’ fine print.

Recently reported by both the next web and PC Pro Apple has now been required by the UK government – or rather the Office of Fair Trading – to clean up the language they use in their Terms and Conditions. The reason given is that the consumer needs to be able to understand the rights listed therein.
